Introduction

 

Toby Wright was born in 1976. Graduate from the "Florence Academy of Art", he was invited to assist teaching while continuing his studies.  His positions included director of the drawing program for the sculpture department, and principal instructor in the advanced painting program.

Inspired by various old masters of painting and sculpture from the 17th and 19th century, Toby Wright believes in the method of working from life to capture the full depth of his subjects.  His work can be found in galleries and private collection in Europe and America. He currently paints in his studio, in Monaco.

 
 
                                        



Toby Wright est né en 1976. Diplomé de la "Florence Acedemy of Art", il est invité à enseigner tout en poursuivant ses études.  Il devient le directeur de dessin dans le departement sculpture, et un des principaux enseignants dans le programme de peinture.

Inspiré par plusieurs grand maitres peintres et sculpteurs du 17ème et du 19ème sciècle, Toby Wright croit avant tout qu'il est essentiel de travailler sur le motif pour capter toute la profondeur de son sujet. Ses oeuvres se trouvent en galleries, et collections privées à travers l'Europe et les Etats-Unis.  Il peint actuellement à son atelier à Monaco.
